We are looking for a Business Operations Support Assistant to join the National Theatre Business Operations and Support Team on an 18 Month Fixed Term Contract.

 

The purpose of the role

This new role will support the Deputy Director Business Operations Support in delivering:

  1. Operational efficiencies and cost savings throughout the NT
  2. Measurement of the NTs performance
  3. Reports for internal and external stakeholders

The Business Operations Support Assistant will support the delivery of projects across all departments at the National Theatre to optimise cross organisational working including improving processes and efficiencies. The post holder will support the collation and delivery of reports on business performance and streamline the National’s reporting against our Business Plan KPIs and SMART’s.

 

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Demonstrable experience in an administrative or operational role.
  • Strong IT skills especially use of excel to analyse data (eg pivot tables, linking data sets and look ups) and create reports that include charts and graphs.
  • Logical thinker with experience of documenting operational processes step by step in narrative and flow chart form and identifying areas to improve and streamline.
  • Able to communicate with colleagues at all levels of seniority.
  • Understanding of business operations (eg Finance, HR, IT) processes and best practice  and experience in digitisation of processes.
