Music Resources Manager

We are looking for a Music Resources Manager to join us. 

The Music Resources Manager supports the creation and use of music in its many forms across all areas of the NT’s programming. As well as coordinating the physical delivery of the department's operational activities this post will also be an in-house resource for music technology and preparation.  

The Music Resources Manager works closely with the Sound, Production, Props, Lighting and Stage Management departments to facilitate the integration of music into the rehearsal and performance process. The evolution of Music and its forms of delivery will be a cornerstone of this position with continued training available in order to stay up to date with best practice in an ever-advancing technical music arena. 

This is a hands-on role in a production environment that requires collaborative approach and experience in moving and handling instruments and equipment, multi-tasking, prioritizing and managing your time

The successful candidate will have the following: 

  • Experience of handling and setting up a wide range of musical instruments and equipment 

  • The ability to set up keyboards and their operating systems 

  • A knowledge of music technology platforms and music preparation programmes 

  • To be able to do basic maintenance and repair of instruments 

  • Proactive and collaborative approach to work with the ability to use initiative, prioritize, multi-task and manage time 

  • To be responsible for performing materials (scores and band parts)
