Social Media Content Editor

We are currently looking for someone who is multi-skilled and multi-talented creative to join our team.

You’ll engage audiences established and new, enabling them to get closer to the National Theatre. You’ll tell the extraordinary stories of the work on our stages and behind the scenes, building relationships with colleagues, creative teams and acting companies. Your work will play an important part in our work to open up the National Theatre and reach a wide and diverse audience which extends beyond established theatregoers.

You’ll have a strong sense of narrative and the ability to create and commission fresh and innovative ways to get our message out there. You’ll be able to grow our online community, delight them, and open up conversation. As well as having a flair for writing, you’ll be experienced in developing, commissioning and creating other ways to tell a story, using film, photography, illustration and social media. You’ll know how to plan effective distribution for content you create, and content made by the Broadcast and Digital department.

You will also have a proven ability to complete projects to budget and on time and be confident in presenting creative concepts to colleagues.
