The National Theatre is a theatre for the whole nation, a theatre for everyone. This is a new opportunity to play your part in its future development.
Theatre can lead to extraordinary moments of shared imagination. It enables us to stand in another’s shoes to better understand ourselves and the world around us. It shows us who we are, who we have been, who we could be. The National Theatre delivers on this promise through a world-class programme of performance, reinvigorating existing work and exploring progressive new voices and forms.
We are seeking a talented individual with a strong track record of leading corporate sponsorship and partnership teams that deliver exceptional results to supporters and customers. As one of the Development Senior Management Team members you will work closely with the Director of Development to shape and deliver a transformational strategy to develop high value and innovative corporate partnerships and make a substantial impact on the future of this great institution.
Critical to your success in this role will be your proven track record of success in delivering corporate fundraising income against demanding targets, and in leading a high-performing team. Strategic and proactive, you have strong commercial acumen and the ability to work with key internal and external stakeholders at all levels. Your experience may have been gained in previous Corporate Development roles, or from a partnerships role in the private sector. Crucially, you have excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills, and thrive in busy and fast-paced environments.
In order to reach ambitious targets over the coming years the National Theatre needs to be innovative, resourceful and smart. If you are excited by the prospect of contributing to the National Theatre at a time of unprecedented ambition and demand, we would love to hear from you.
