Senior Producer, Broadcast (Maternity Cover)

We are currently recruiting a Senior Producer to join our Broadcast team on a 10 month FTC.

This is a key senior position providing leadership and strategic oversight of the content production for the National Theatre. The Senior Producer is responsible for managing our in-house content team and commissioning content externally. You will be working directly with the senior creatives and stakeholders at the National Theatre and the role entails liaising and interpreting the work of world-class stage directors, writers, talent and designers.  The Content Production Studio sits within the Broadcast Department and the Senior Producer provides leadership across all short form content for the commissioning departments including Marketing, Learning, Development, National Theatre West End Productions and others, providing leadership to the Content Production team including Digital Content Producers to enable cost effective and timely production of a wide range of content. The Senior Producer works directly with the National Theatre Live team on content around our live cinema programming worldwide.

This role would suit a Producer with significant experience across a variety of content and a range of platforms with experience of managing a small team.  You do not need to have worked in the theatre but you must have a love and passion for the arts and for a strategic approach to delivering distinctive and inspiring content.
