Marketing Officer NT Live (x1 permanent and x1 FTC 12 months)

National Theatre Live is a key part of the National Theatre’s strategy to reach a wide audience across the UK and around the world, making theatre accessible for everyone. We broadcast the best of British theatre, from the National Theatre stages and beyond, to 3,500 cinema screens in 65 countries around the world.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in the growing event cinema industry, where theatre meets film. The role of the National Theatre Live marketing team is to provide marketing and sales leadership for this part of the National Theatre’s business. The position plays a key role in developing and executing national and international broadcast campaigns to customers and also cinema partners.

This position sits within the wider Marketing Department of the National Theatre. We are an audience-focussed and data-led department, and this post will contribute to department-wide initiatives including audience development work and strategies for engaging audiences online through digital content and social media.

You will work closely with colleagues in the National Theatre Live Programming, Production and Distribution teams as well as the Graphic Design Studio, Content Production Studio, Press, Development and Publications. It also involves managing relationships with co-producing partners, cinema chains as well as external consultants, suppliers and other stakeholders.
