IT Support Engineer

The IT department comprises 15 people and supports a wide variety of computing infrastructure (cloud, AWS and Azure), as-a-service platforms and applications supporting teams across the theatre including productions, marketing and fundraising, catering and retail systems, finance applications, internally developed systems and Mitel telephony services. There are 800 PCs and Macs in use at the National Theatre for over 1500 staff and the department has the responsibility to ensure the IT products and services are delivered and supported to the highest standards and are available to the organisation which operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Purpose of the Job

As a member of the IT Operations Team, you will be responsible for managing the service and delivering technical operation of the IT Operations team. This includes the support of the theatre IT systems as well as the management, proactive maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of our systems, including but not limited to servers, SANs, applications, and virtual infrastructure.

You will also be a technical contact on projects across the NT from roll outs of software and processes, improvements to the capabilities or just changes in individual departments.
