We are looking for a Digital Skills Trainer to join the National Theatre IT Team.

 

As a member of the IT Department, this role reports to the Head of IT Support and is responsible for providing digital skills training to all employees of the National Theatre. This includes designing digital online site courses and implementing digital skills training programs for all staff.

 

The role will involve delivering training for key business systems, such as Office 365, SharePoint, Power Automate, the new People System, iXL (inhouse venue management system), Tessitura, Intranet, Website, and any other digital systems that may be introduced in the future.

 

To ensure that all staff members receive the necessary training, this role will need to provide training throughout the year, both for existing staff looking to build and augment their existing skills, as well as for new starters as part of their onboarding process.

 

The successful candidate will have the following: 

  • Demonstrable experience in a digital training or learning delivery role

  • Excellent proficiency in a wide variety of software programs, including Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, Power Automate, event scheduling systems and ticketing systems such as Tessitura

  • An understanding of e-learning tools and technology to support learning

  • Experience of creating and editing video content

  • Proficiency in writing, formatting, and designing training materials
