We are looking for a Personal Assistant to the Deputy Artistic Director and the Director of Strategy to join the National Theatre Directors' Office Team.

The PA to the Deputy Artistic Director and Director of Strategy will work closely with the Deputy Artistic Director and the Director of Strategy to provide proactive support, including around their diaries, travel logistics and email inboxes.  

This role will also provide support to the Associates, ensuring their diaries are up-to-date, and to be on hand to ensure the smooth running of their roles.

In addition, there may be the requirement to be involved in a range of other projects, which could be at any stage of development, across the breadth of the NT’s work.

The successful candidate will have the following: 

  • Relevant experience in a Personal Assistant role, including diary and email management and an understanding of the requirements of interacting with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience working within theatre or performing arts, with an understanding of the unique demands and culture of the industry.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to deal confidently, personally, and positive with a wide range of contacts, including artists, producers, and production teams.
  • Substantial administrative experience in a dynamic environment, ideally within the arts or cultural sector.
  • Strong multi-tasking skills and the ability to prioritise and work accurately
