We are looking for a Programme Manager to join the National Theatre Estates Capital Team.
The purpose of the role
This role is responsible for the end-to-end planning and delivery of a programme of projects across the NT Estate, varying in size and complexity, supporting best practice in project methodology and programme management. The role works closely with the Estates Capital Projects team and internal stakeholders, to define and deliver project outcomes and benefits and to deliver these projects without adversely impacting day to day operations, in particular rehearsals and performances.
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Demonstrable experience in a similar role, or equivalent role, of capital programme management and / or delivery of a varied and complex programme of projects.
- Demonstrable experience of team management and leadership in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to take a strategic approach to the programme, and identify risk, opportunities, dependencies and recommend solutions, whilst maintaining an attention to detail to ensure the successful delivery of the programme.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to explain decisions in a clear manner, to senior management, Board, stakeholders, the project team, and end users.
- A flexible, agile, and analytical approach to decision making, programme and delivery strategy, that supports the day-to-day business of the theatre whilst delivering the best outcomes for the programme.
