We are looking for a Senior Policy Manager to join the National Theatre Communications Team.

The post holder will build relationships with influential policymakers, sector peers and internal stakeholders that enable them to lead the development and delivery of agreed policy objectives that will benefit the National Theatre and the sectors it is part of. The post holder will also help to identify new public funding opportunities and work with colleagues to create applications and reports to these funds.

The post holder will work as part of the Policy team within the Communications Department.

The successful candidate will have the following: 

  • Experience of developing and delivering policy objectives.
  • Experience of stakeholder management, preferably focusing on political stakeholders.
  • Exceptional writing, proofing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt style to suit audiences.
  • A confident and comfortable networker with excellent relationship building and management skills.
  • Ability to digest and analyse complex information, and to present it as simply and compellingly as possible.
