We are looking for a Tours Manager to join the National Theatre Enterprises Team.

As Tours Manager you, will be responsible for the strategic innovation and exceptional service delivery of the National Theatre’s Guided Tours business, achieving year-on-year commercial growth and reaching new audiences. You will be passionate about audience experience, ensuring your products, processes and team deliver a world class end-to-end customer journey from initial inquiry to post-experience follow-up.

Beyond your commercial and creative vision, you will have a people orientated approach, delivering training and coaching guides, empowering them to enthusiastically communicate the story of the National Theatre to diverse audiences. You will connect with a wide variety of departments across the organisation, building positive relationships and networks whilst advocating for tours, gaining insight and prioritising access.

The successful candidate will have the following: 

 

  • Strong knowledge of guided tours operations and associated commercial opportunities.
  • Experience of generating ideas for new tours and transform into commercially viable products.
  • Ability to create quality control procedures to maintain the standard of service across a varied team.
  • Proven experience in a customer facing commercial role.
  • Comfortable managing budgets and Profit and loss statement.
