We are looking for a Youth Partnerships Assistant to join our Learning Department at the National Theatre.

Learning is at the heart of the National Theatre’s work. Through a nationwide programme the NT shares the power and potential of theatre with young people, adults and communities across the UK,  giving  as  many  people  as  possible  the  chance  to  make, experience and be inspired by theatre.

The Youth Partnerships Assistant will work closely with the Learning team to develop and support our work with identified London communities. Across 2023 and 2024, a key focus of the team’s work is the North Kensington Project, a multi-year programme working with partner organisations and young people in the area.

The Assistant is based in the NT’s Learning department. The role will work with the wider NT Learning, Producing and freelance creative teams as required for the delivery of a community-focussed programme.

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Strong administrative experience, including experience in processing invoices and booking meetings/coordinating diaries.
  • An understanding and/or experience of working with North Kensington communities.
  • Experience of working positively as part of a team supporting colleagues when needed.
  • Experience of working with a range of partner organisations and an understanding of how to develop and maintain relationships with these organisations.
  • Experience and interest in engaging children and young people in theatre and the arts.

If that sounds like you, this may be the role for you!
