We are looking for an Associate Director of Development to join the National Theatre Development Team.

 

The purpose of the role

 

The Associate Director of Development will provide senior leadership in Development, with line-management responsibility for the Head of Corporate Development and Head of Events, and a wider responsibility for department strategy and culture. They will lead their teams to deliver results and grow fundraising income and deliver exceptional events and opportunities for supporters and partners. They will work closely with the Chief Development Officer and Director of Development to help implement and drive the Fundraising strategy and ensure that financial targets are achieved.

 

The successful candidate will have the following: 

  • Significant experience in fundraising, with a record of personally soliciting 6 and 7 figure gifts from businesses
  • Experience of high-impact events and activations
  • Proven experience of leading a high performing team
  • An influential negotiator, skilled at galvanising a range of people including senior stakeholders
  • A strategic thinker
