We are looking for an Associate Producer to join the National Theatre's NT Productions team.
The Associate Producer will oversee the management of all NTP productions by third party companies or people, using their extensive experience to ensure that these productions are delivered to the highest of standards.
They will work with the Director of Commercial Producing and Managing Director to assess and explore the commercial viability of future productions, interrogating and modelling potential scenarios. They will ensure that productions meet the agreed budget and schedule, and are in line with NT brand guidelines and policies/procedures.
They will liaise with co-producers and other departments at the NT, at all times representing the best interests of the NT.
The Associate Producer will build and hold strong working relationships with all partners and stakeholders. They will report, debrief and escalate headlines to the Director of Commercial Producing and Managing Director as appropriate.
The successful candidates will have the following:
- Significant experience of working at a management level on large scale productions
- An excellent understanding of the general management process including production accounts
- A pro active approach to their work with the ability to drive the process of mounting productions
- A proven ability to work effectively with high level stakeholders
- Experience of making clear and considered decisions
