We are looking for a Box Office Sales Assistant to join the National Theatre's Box Office team on a Part Time Contract.  

The Box Office Sales Assistant is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by handling ticket sales and enquiries. This role ensures a smooth and efficient ticketing experience for customers, both in person and via phone or online channels. They will also be responsible for the following: manage bookings, processing payments accurately, and providing information about shows, seating, and pricing.

The successful candidates will have the following:  

  • Demonstrable experience of working in a customer service role
  • Proven experience of greeting customers in a friendly and welcoming manner and resolving customer interactions with a calm and confident approach.
  • Good attention to detail
  • Accurate computer keyboard skills and proficient in Microsoft packages (Word and Outlook)
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally (by phone and in person) and written when engaging with internal and external stakeholders and customers
