We are looking for a Culture & People Administrator, to join our Culture Department at the National Theatre.
The National Theatre is a world class theatre for all with a nationwide and international learning and participation programme that inspire and enhances life chances.The Culture Team works with all teams within the National Theatre to promote and support an equitable, inclusive, and diverse work environment for all staff, including freelancers, and visitors to the NT.
This role will provide an exciting insight into this important and fundamental aspect of the National Theatre, enabling involvement in a broad reach of discussions and activity. The Culture and People teams are working towards strengthening the National Theatre’s practices as a diverse, equitable, and inclusive organisation, with a strong commitment to addressing structural systemic inequalities and ensuring a sense of belonging in all who work with us.
The successful candidate will have the following:
Excellent organisational skills, ability to plan and manage own workload
Excellent administration skills, in particular attention to detail and working to deadlines
Demonstrable passion for inclusion
Strong team-working skills, experience of working collaboratively
Positive communication skills, with the ability to communicate appropriately with stakeholders
Excellent computer skills, with a sound knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
An understanding of the importance of confidentiality, tact and discretion
