We are looking for a Facilities Services Manager to join the National Theatre Facilities Team on a 24 Month Fixed Term Contract.

 

The purpose of the role

The purpose of this role is to provide a comprehensive maintenance and improvement programme to the three sites operated by the National Theatre to cost and quality standards agreed with the Head of Facilities. As well as to manage employee and contractor performance and to support the move to net zero by 2030.

 

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Relevant Engineering qualifications and experience, with considerable experience of mechanical systems including HVAC, LTHW heating and sprinkler installations.
  • Proven experience in managing a multi-skilled building maintenance team.
  • Great people skills and experience in leading a department through change.
  • The ability to work effectively in a changing and pressured environment, producing realistic schedules and ensuring their delivery on time.
  • Excellent planning and project management skills.
  • Computer literacy and competence in the use of AutoCad.
  • Awareness of current Health and Safety legislation.
  • Experience in the use of planned maintenance systems and building management systems.
