Head of Automation (Hadestown at the Lyric Theatre)

 

Hadestown, the acclaimed Broadway musical phenomenon by singer-songwriter Anaïs Mitchell and director Rachel Chavkin made its long-awaited West End premiere in February 2024 at the Lyric Theatre. ‘An epic celebration of music, togetherness and hope’ (Forbes). Hadestown is the winner of 8 Tony Awards® including Best Musical and the Grammy Award® for Best Musical Theatre Album.

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Extensive experience operating and maintaining automation equipment and excellent technical skills, including a proven track record of dealing with complex automation issues
  • Experience programming automation consoles
  • Experience in scheduling and managing an Automation department on a large-scale West End production or equivalent
  • Awareness of current Health & Safety legislation including LOLER, risk assessment and working at height
  • Flexible and self-motivated approach with the ability to support colleagues and acting company and to form excellent working relationships
