We are looking for a Head of Development Events to join the National Theatre Development Team on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract.

The purpose of the role

 

The Head of Development Events is responsible for leading the Events team to deliver a creative programme of events that strengthens the National Theatre’s relationship with its supporters and helps to meet the department’s fundraising goals. The role works closely with the department’s leadership team to devise event strategies for corporates, trusts and individual supporters.   

 

We are looking for a creative and organised person with experience of managing people and delivering high quality events. They will have outstanding project management and communication skills, and a passion for delivering extraordinary experiences.  

 

The successful candidate will have the following: 

 

  • Experience of event management and event delivery
  • People management experience
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in the use of MS office, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
