The Head of ED&I is a new role and will suit an experienced ED&I professional who is passionate about playing a key role in driving forward cultural change at the National Theatre. Under the management of our new Director of Culture you will help develop and implement initiatives to embed equity, diversity and inclusion in the organisation.
You will also play an essential part in delivering our overarching vision of diversity, equity, and inclusion across all areas of activity – employees, freelancers and audiences as we strive to promote inclusive and equitable practices.
This role will partner closely with the Head of Access, EDI Projects Lead, the Inclusion Working Group, the Culture Leaders, the Staff Networks, and Head of Department peers within the National Theatre to ensure we deliver effectively on our ED&I goals.
Along with strong project management skills and an extensive knowledge of inclusive working practices, you will have proven experience of working effectively in a similar environment (preferably within an arts setting).
Previous experience of implementing and measuring ED&I initiatives, agendas and strategy are also important.
