We are looking for an NTP Welfare Advisor (Part Time) to join the National Theatre Productions Team on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract.

The NTP Welfare Advisor will deliver a triage service to support the companies throughout the production on tour and in the West End.  The post holder will work proactively to promote well-being and develop positive mental health awareness in NTP.

Please note this role would be based at the National Theatre but will require travel to other locations.

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • A relevant professional qualification in the field of mental health and an accreditation from BACP, UKCP, BADTH or HCPC.
  • Experience of crisis management and risk assessment.
  • Experience of working with, mentoring or supporting individuals with mental health difficulties.
  • An awareness and understanding of the systemic barriers affecting people with protected characteristics.
  • An understanding of confidentiality and GDPR and the importance of maintaining accurate and detailed records.
