We are looking for a People Administrator to join the National Theatre People Team.


The People Team provide advice, guidance and support to all National Theatre staff, line managers and senior leaders on people policies; terms and conditions of employment; recruitment and selection; performance management; staff engagement; diversity and inclusion; trade union and employee relations; discipline, grievance, and capability processes; and training and career development.

This role is an exciting opportunity to work in the People Department at the NT.  Supporting the Director and Deputy Director of People and providing full administrative support that will include the directors diary management, support to key People meetings in addition to servicing specific projects.


The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Previous experience of working in a busy administrative environment.

  • Experience of writing and communicating in a clear way to ensure the provision of an excellent service.

  • Excellent attention to detail, able to prioritise conflicting demands and manage confidential information.

  • Experience of working effectively under pressure and managing multiple priorities, with good time management skills and with accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Experience of using a system to support tasks and working within defined processes.
