We have an exciting opportunity for a People Development Apprentice to join the National Theatre People and Culture Team on a 18 Month Fixed Term Contract.
Purpose of the Apprenticeship
Reporting to the People Development Advisor, this role is for someone interested in the specialism of learning and development and self-development. It is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in an active and dynamic learning and development function.
You will contribute to the effective running of the People Development team by collaborating with the wider People & Culture Department and key contacts across the organisation.
At the NT you will:
* Support managing the People Development inboxes, providing first responses, solutions, and escalation to the appropriate person/team.
* Assist the People Development Coordinator in the day-to-day activities of booking courses, processing invoices, and room set up/take down.
* Support in the monitoring of our Learning Management System alongside the People Development Coordinator
* Provide support in record keeping and data of key people development, mandatory, compliance, organisational, Health & Safety and departmental programmes
* Working closely with the People Development Advisors to provide support, advice, guidance and information
* Assisting the People Development Advisors in creating, designing and delivering effective solutions and interventions.
* Supporting & monitoring training requests and annual training plans and developing and maintaining relationships with key departmental contacts.
* Collaborate with the People Development Coordinator/Advisors on training/learning design, delivery and Evaluation.
With Gingernut training you will:
* Complete a Learning & Development Practitioner Standard – Level 3
* Attend regular online training sessions and meetings with your assessor.
* Complete coursework, a portfolio and final assessments to achieve qualification.
This is a Level 3 apprenticeship; therefore, applicants must be suitable for study at that level and NOT hold a related degree, HND, or a post graduate qualification, or have extensive experience of working in people development or Human Resources.
