We are looking for a Production Assistant to join the National Theatre Digital Team.

 

The purpose of the role

 

The purpose of the role is to act as the Production Assistant for the Digital Media department including National Theatre Live broadcasts, NT at Home captures, short form content and assist with the administrative and logistical tasks in relation to all aspects of the production elements associated with filmed activity.

 

The Production Assistant will report directly to the Head of Production providing support to the Digital Media team to ensure the smooth running of the production aspects of the broadcasts to cinemas, along with assisting with the production of additional content such as trailers, pre-show films and talking heads and other long form captures for NT Collection and NT at Home. This role is a key administrative and practical position in a busy and fast-paced production team, whose support is paramount in creating successful content.

 

The successful candidate will have the following: 

  • The ability to prioritise tasks in a busy and changeable working environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail especially when preparing documentation, such as minutes from meetings.
  • Experience in a related field, such as trailer/documentary filmed content, theatre, broadcast and live events.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deal calmly, confidently and positively with people at all levels i.e. internal and external parties, over the phone, via email and in person.
  • Demonstrable administrative experience such as, processing invoices, and organising travel.
