We are looking for a Public Acts Coordinator to join our Learning Department.

Through a nationwide programme the NT shares the power and potential of theatre with young people, adults and communities across the UK, giving as many people as possible the chance to make, experience and be inspired by theatre. In spring 2020, we pivoted much of the department's programme into a digital offer and in 2020-21 reached 91,000 individuals. Looking forward, we are shaping our work to combine the best elements of in person and digital delivery.

In recent years, the Clore Learning Centre at the NT and our schools’ streaming service, NT Collection, have transformed our work. With a commitment to broadening the diversity of those we create work with and for, a focus on nationwide programmes such as Public Acts, Connections and Let’s Play, new partners nationally, and a commitment to programmes for young people at the NT, this is an exciting time to join an ambitious and growing programme.

The purpose of this role is to act as the central Coordinator for the Public Acts programme, working closely with the Producer, Senior Producer and Director of Public Acts to effectively administrate the various elements of the Public Acts programme. The Public Acts Coordinator is based in the NT’s Learning department.

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Solid administrative experience in a professional organisation, including previous experience of booking travel, raising POs and invoices etc.
  • Excellent organisational skills including the ability to prioritise tasks within competing work demands and to meet deadlines.
  • Good research skills.
  • Ability to use own initiative, showing a proactive approach to work.
  • Ability to deal confidently and positively with a wide range of people of all ages and backgrounds in writing, face-to-face and over the phone.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team.

If that sounds like you, then we would love to hear from you!
