We are looking to recruit a Resident Director to join our production of Dear England.
James Graham’s critically acclaimed, sold-out production of Dear England, directed by Rupert Goold, tells the story of the England men’s football team under Gareth Southgate. It will transfer to the Prince Edward Theatre, in London’s West End, from 9 October 2023 for a 14-week run until 13 January 2024.
Key show dates:
— Rehearsals will commence on 11 September 2023 in London
— Tech week will commence w/c 2 October 2023
— First Performance on 9 October 2023
— Opening Night on 19 October 2023
— Final Performance on 13 January 2024

The successful candidate will have the following:
- Professional experience in theatre directing, including working with understudies and leading understudy rehearsals.
- Extensive experience as a resident director to maintain the quality of large-scale productions.
- Knowledge and experience of the working practices of a large-scale West End production .
- Experience of working across departments to schedule rehearsals.
- A sensitivity of approach and excellent communication skills, with the ability to build effective and supportive working relationships across the full range of individuals.
