We are looking for a Risk and Compliance Officer to join the National Theatre Business Operations and Support Team on a Part Time Contract.

The Risk & Compliance Officer supports the Deputy Director of Business Operations Support (DDBOS) is ensuring the NT has suitable arrangements in place in respect of risk and compliance. They help the DDBOS to manage the NT’s risk management and compliance processes to ensure the NT has the best opportunity to prevent issues arising, minimise risks and maximise opportunities and to ensure that the NT meets its regulatory responsibilities.

The Risk and Compliance Officer will support the development and management of the NTs:

  • Data Protection Governance and management
  • Major Incident Plan maintenance and testing
  • Policy Register and Policies
  • Risk management processes, including monitoring, reporting and internal engagement
  • Compliance management processes, including monitoring, reporting and improvement to reduce risk

The successful candidate will have the following: 

  • Previous role in risk and/or compliance.
  • Advanced knowledge of Data Protection/GDPR.
  • Strong report writing skills that include clear and concise wording and use of visuals, charts etc.
  • Able to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders both internally and externally including interpretation of complex concepts.
  • Experience creating and delivering training programmes.
