We are looking for a Schools Engagement Coordinator to join the National Theatre Schools Engagement Team.

As one of two Schools Engagement Coordinators in the team, you will play a key role in the effective planning, management and delivery of the National Theatre’s Schools Engagement programme, working across all educational phases from Primary to Further Education.  

You will support the development and management of Schools Engagement programmes that offer a diverse, high-quality and inspiring programme of live and digitally delivered activity, exploring all aspects of theatre making and production for schools and teachers. The programme is inspired by the full range of the NT’s work both on and off stage and involves both NT artists and creative teams and some of the UK’s most exciting theatre makers.  This role will coordinate work at the National Theatre, in London and nationwide.

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Experience of working in an arts organisation
  • Knowledge of and interest in theatre and working in arts education
  • Experience of working on live and or digital education programmes and resources
  • Excellent organisational skills with delivery to budget and deadlines
  • Ability to use own initiative, showing a proactive approach to work
  • Knowledge of the UK education system
