We are looking for a Skills Centre Administrator to join the National Theatre Skills Centre Team.

 

The purpose of the role is to act as the central administrator for the Skills Centre programme, working across all of the team’s output. The role will deliver all key administrative functions, supporting the smooth and efficient delivery of work. The role will work collaboratively with colleagues to support the existing programmes and new opportunities in line with the Skills Centre strategy and ambitions.

 

The Skills Centre is based within the NT’s Learning department and works collaboratively with many other departments within the organisation to build, support, deliver and evaluate skills development activity across all areas of the NT’s work. The role is focused on the Skills Centre but will work with the wider Learning and the organisation teams as required for the operation of the programme and the wider development of the Skills Centre.

 

The successful candidate will have the following: 

  • Solid administrative experience in a professional organisation

  • Experience of communicating with a variety of stakeholders and/or departments

  • IT skills including using Outlook, Word and Excel; Zoom and/or Microsoft Teams

  • Excellent organisational skills including the ability to prioritise tasks within competing work demands and to meet deadlines

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to deal confidently and positively with a wide range of people of all ages and backgrounds in writing, face-to-face and over the phone

  • Ability to work well as part of a team
