We are looking for a Sound No. 2 for Hadestown for a Fixed Term Contract.
Hadestown, the acclaimed Broadway musical phenomenon by singer-songwriter Anaïs Mitchell and director Rachel Chavkin made its long-awaited West End premiered in February 2024 at the Lyric Theatre. ‘An epic celebration of music, togetherness and hope’ (Forbes). Hadestown is the winner of 8 Tony Awards® including Best Musical and the Grammy Award® for Best Musical Theatre Album.
Hadestown is now in its second year in the West End after a cast change in February 2025.
The successful candidate will have the following:
Experience of working in a similar role on a medium or large-scale West End production or equivalent
Excellent knowledge of mic fitting and maintenance on a medium or large-scale West End production or equivalent
Experience with the industry-standard desks (specifically DiGiCo) and software, including Qlab and performer tracking, and radio microphones, in addition to other equipment and software
Operational Sound experience and excellent technical skills, including excellent live mixing skills with a proven track record of dealing with complex radio mic shows
Flexible and self-motivated approach with the ability to work well as part of a team and to form excellent working relationships
