We are looking for a Tour Guide to join the National Theatre Enterprises Team on a Part Time & 12 Month Fixed Term Contract.

As a Tour Guide, you will be responsible for bringing the National Theatre's rich history and backstage stories to life, captivating visitors from around the world. Your passion and storytelling skills will create truly memorable experiences.

Following our comprehensive training program, you'll gain expert knowledge of our legendary venue, from its hidden architectural wonders to its vibrant performance history. You'll be the key to welcoming and engaging inspiring a wide range of guests with your passion.

With tours running six days a week, each day at the National Theatre offers a unique experience. We require your availability 4-5 weeks in advance, and you'll receive your tour schedule with at least two weeks' notice.

The successful candidate will have the following: 

  • Experience of working as a tour guide or demonstrable relevant transferable skills, such as facilitation or storytelling.
  • Demonstrable verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrable ability to work collaboratively
  • Examples of prioritizing customers needs and delivering great customer service.
  • Demonstrable ability to be welcoming and approachable.
