We are looking for a Touring Coordinator to join the National Theatre National Partnerships Team on a 9 Month Fixed Term Contract.

 

The purpose of the role

 

The Touring Coordinator will provide support for the planning, scheduling, management, and educational wraparound of the schools’ tour. In addition, this role will support the delivery of audience development activity, learning events, and workshops around the large-scale tour of War Horse.

 

The National Theatre is committed to touring, including into schools nationwide, and developing sustained relationships with partner theatres, schools, communities and young people. Each year, NT Learning produce a secondary schools’ production which tours across the country into school halls. Our next production will tour to schools across the country for a total of 9 weeks. For thousands of young people, this show will be their first experience of live theatre.

 

The successful candidate will have the following: 

  • An interest in arts engagement and learning.
  • Excellent organisational and administration skills in a professional organisation with attention to detail, including experience of booking travel, raising PO's and invoices, scheduling meetings, and the ability to work efficiently to tight deadlines.
  • A proven interest in producing theatre
  • The ability to work on own initiative showing a proactive approach to work.
  • Excellent computer literacy (Word, Outlook, Teams, advanced use of Excel) and the ability to produce accurate work.
