We are looking for a Deputy Operations Manager (Events) to join the National Theatre Learning Team.

 

The purpose of the role

This role ensures that all learning events and projects are scheduled and delivered to the highest quality. The post holder will work in close collaboration with all of the Learning Department programmes, the Learning Operations Manager (Events) and Learning Operations Coordinator in supporting the planning and logistics of Learning activity both at the National Theatre and offsite. The role will develop a thorough understanding of the breadth of the output of the Learning Department which spans in-person workshops for young people, multi-school conferences, large scale practitioner development weekends, schools’ tours and more. The role will facilitate effective communication between Learning, the NT Planning Department and the wider building. The post is a member of the Learning Operations team who have an overview of scheduling, future planning, logistics and the Clore Learning Centre (CLC) spaces.

 

This role is part of the Learning Operations team, made up of a further seven posts, reporting into the Deputy Director of Learning (Operations). This team works extensively with other departments across the NT as well as across all Learning activity.

 

The successful candidate will have the following: 

 

  • Experience of working in a technical or production team and/or live events.
  • Excellent attention to detail & organisational skills.
  • Experience of scheduling or project management.
  • Experience of working and communicating with stakeholders from varied departments and specialisms.
  • Experience of working in the arts and culture sector.
