We are looking for a Director of Marketing and Sales to join the National Theatre Marketing Team.

 

The purpose of the role

 

The Director of Sales & Marketing plays a leading role in in delivering audience and sales strategies across multiple areas of its activity and in strengthening the National Theatre’s brand.

 

The National Theatre is delivering its five-year strategy ‘Entertain and Inspire’. Central to this is the aim to innovate to expand our audience, offering unparalleled opportunities for work to be made, shared and celebrated live and digitally for the widest audience reach and impact. The Director of Marketing & Sales will play a leading role in evolving ways of working to successfully deliver the NT’s strategic objectives.

 

The successful candidate will have the following: 

  • Demonstrated senior marketing experience in the creative industries with a track record of success.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively at a senior level with various internal and external stakeholders, including artists and creative professionals

  • Track record of leading and managing staff at a senior level, preferably across diverse specialisms/departments

  • Experience of working with senior stakeholders to deliver organisational aims, successfully aligning the work of teams with strategic objectives.

  • Experience in driving change, utilising data for decision-making, and leveraging technology to enhance processes and customer experiences.
