We are looking for an Estates Fabric Painter/Decorator to join the National Theatre Facilities Team.

The National Theatre are looking for a Multi skilled Fabric Technician to join our Facilities Team to maintain our varied and complex buildings. We need your creative ideas to continue our commitment to reducing our production of CO2. Our Facilities team act as ambassadors for the department throughout the organisation, their unique roles and ability to ‘access all areas’ sees them engage with staff, company and visitors making them an active presence within the community of the theatre.

The successful candidate will have the following: 

  • Indentured Apprenticeship in Carpentry Joinery Painting and Decorating 
  • Experience of Building Services and Maintenance 
  • Knowledge of RAL colours 
  • High levels of adaptability and trade knowledge 
  • Working as part of a team and individually without supervision 
  • Ability to communicate with Staff, Customers and members of the public
