We are looking for a Producer to join the National Theatre Digital Team.
The Producer will report to the Senior Producer and be responsible for working with the creative and technical teams to ensure the smooth running and successful delivery of National Theatre Live and National Theatre at Home recordings, broadcasts and surrounding content. Working in collaboration with colleagues across the Digital Media department and wider organisation, this role will be responsible for bringing together all elements related to the successful capture of a range of productions at the National Theatre and other leading British Theatre Companies working across programming, scheduling, rights, producing and post-production.
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Significant long-term experience in producing or supporting the capture of live, long-form performances (e.g. theatre or television).
- Experience producing short-form content, with the ability to plan, pitch and execute engaging material.
- Demonstrable ability to problem-solve and make confident decisions in a live broadcast/ capture environment.
- Strong creative judgement and the ability to engage collaboratively with camera directors, stage directors, and editors to realise the artistic vision of live performance on screen.
- Understanding of broadcast/recording formats, delivery processes, and production workflows
