We are looking for a Support Services Operative to join the National Theatre Support Services Team on a Part Time Contract.
The purpose of this role is as follows:
- To provide comprehensive operational support across the National Theatre.
- To ensure that the National Theatre is safe, presentable and welcoming to everyone.
- To look after and care for our historic building.
- To act as a first point of contact for couriers, external contractors and staff that enter the service yard.
- To deliver professional, consistent and welcoming customer service to everyone.
- To advance and promote our sustainability goals
- To making the National Theatre better every day.
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Excellent collaboration skills are essential because you will be expected to work with departments across the National Theatre
- Excellent and confident communication skills are crucial. You must be able to express yourself clearly and assuredly in any setting, whether in one-on-one conversations or addressing large groups, consistently demonstrating a responsive and engaged attitude
- A high level of computer literacy
- You must be able to work under pressure whilst maintaining a high standard of professionalism and customer service
- The ability to handle, carry, stack and store heavy items with care, safety and security with minimum supervision is essential
- Experience in a customer service environment
