We are looking for a Dresser to join our production of Standing at the Sky's Edge.

The multi-award winning new musical Standing at the Sky’s Edge – winner of the Olivier Award for Best New Musical, UK Theatre Award for Best Musical Production, and the South Bank Sky Arts Award – transfers to the West End following sold-out runs at the National Theatre and Sheffield Theatres.​

 

Key show dates: 

— Rehearsals will commence on 8 January 2024 in London (potential for work in the week prior)

— Load in will commence w/c 29 January 2024 in London

— Tech will commence w/c 5 February 2024 in London

— First Performance on Thursday 8 February 2024

— Tech freeze TBC during the following week

— Press Night on 28 February 2024

— Final Performance on 3 August 2024 (Producer’s option to extend a further six months)

All dates are subject to change.

 

The Company Manager is the beating heart of the production and the key contact and manager for all company and staff.

They are the National Theatre’s management representative on the ground and instrumental to the success of the run.

 

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Experience of dressing actors and performing wardrobe work on professional productions of various scale and type.
  • Previous experience and responsibilities on a small, medium or large-scale West End production or in a similar professional environment.
  • A Flexible and self-motivated approach with the ability to support colleagues and acting company and to form excellent working relationships.
  • The ability to work under minimum supervision and adapt work in accordance with performance requirements.
