We are looking for a Sound and Video Technician (Grade 4, Sound Specialism) to join the National Theatre Sound and Video Team on a 6 month Fixed Term Contract.
We are looking for a Sound Technician at Bectu Grades 4 to join our Sound Department on 6-month fixed term contracts, starting late March 2025.
You will work as part of the National Theatre Sound & Video team delivering the highest quality theatre sound across our stages.
The Sound & Video Technician G4 (Sound Specialism) is ideally suited to individuals earlier within their professional careers with experience running radio mic plots, assisting with production setup and being part of the backstage team.
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Previous experience as a sound technician within a theatre or other live performance environment.
- Experience of backstage sound craft including radio mic fitting/running and monitoring.
- Some experience operating of digital sound consoles and playback software.
- Experience working with theatrical sound systems.
- An awareness of video systems in theatre performance
